A bold evolution of Cartier’s most iconic pilot’s watch, the Santos de Cartier Chronograph Extra-Large Modeldelivers technical precision wrapped in contemporary design. This 2023 edition, rendered in stainless steel with a sleek black ADLC-coated bezel, embodies sport-luxury with unmistakable Cartier elegance.
The case, measuring 47.5mm x 39.8mm x 9.4mm, wears assertively yet comfortably thanks to Cartier’s streamlined ergonomics. The silvered opaline dial is punctuated by black Roman numerals, contrasting chronograph subdials, and blackened sword-shaped hands filled with luminescent material. Unique to this model is Cartier’s mono-pusher chronograph mechanism—ingeniously activated via the crown and unobtrusive on the case.
At the heart is the in-house Calibre 1904-CH MC, a column wheel chronograph movement offering automatic windingand a 48-hour power reserve, beautifully displayed through the sapphire caseback. With Cartier’s QuickSwitch and SmartLink systems, this reference includes both a black rubber strap and a black alligator leather strap, each easily interchangeable without tools.
